Rev. Dr. Joe McKechnie // Pastor
firstname.lastname@example.org // 770.261.1722
Dr. Joe McKechnie has only been at Chapel Roswell since June of 2018, and he loves the culture, the sense of community, and the ways in which Chapel Roswell is reaching out to make a difference in our community and our world. Joe grew up in Cobb County and graduated from the University of Georgia with a major in Broadcast Journalism and a minor in History. He spent six years as a television sportscaster, primarily focused on SEC college football. Joe felt God “calling” him into full-time ministry, so Joe served as a Youth Minister for many years before becoming a Senior Pastor. He earned his Masters of Divinity from Asbury Theological Seminary and later a Doctorate from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. Joe was a church-planter, starting a church outside of Athens, where he spent eight years. He then spent six years at a suburban church in Canton before moving to Chapel Roswell. Joe loves to hear people’s “Chapel Roswell stories” and would love to hear from you. Joe is married to Catherine, who is a school counselor, and they have two children, David, who is 12-years-old, and Grace Ann, who is nine.
